We haven't seen this error before, but since the NIC card and Network connections check out OK. It sounds like you have a TCP/IP or Winsock that has become corrupted. You can try the following repair utility to correct this problem, it has worked every time for us, it should identify your operating system Win95 to WinXP. It will allow you to make a backup before any corrections. Use link below to download. If you have WinXP SPK2 installed it has a utility of its own to repair the TCP/IP and Winsock, use it and not the download. http://www.cercurtiss.com/techsup/_download/WinsockFixForXP.zip If you have any doughts about making these corrections consult local help before making any changes.
