We have run acrossed this problem before, although is was longer between drop outs. As with yours, everything checked (OK) and the only way to clear the problem was to reboot. After digging deeper, we found that stopping and putting in manual one or more of the following services the problem cleared after rebooting. Internet Connection (ICF)/(ICS) Messenger MSSQL Server SNMP Service Goto Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services here you will find the services to Stop and put in Manual. If these don't solve your problem looking further here you may find one.
