Ed, We have a couple of questions, what operating system do you have? What is the location of your task bar, bottom, top, etc.? What do you have showing in your task bar? Do you recall what you did or were doing before your task bar froze up. Have you installed any new applications? Have you installed any upgrades or security patches to your operating system prior to the task bar problem? What applications are running in the background? They would show up as icons on your task bar. Also do you run an Anti virus program on your computer and do you use it?
