Dalton When you refill cartridges, experience has proven that you need to follow the refill instructions exactly, to have the cartridge function properly. Try not to touch the contacts on the cartridge, when refilling. If you have there maybe contamination on the contacts such as ink, oil, dirt, tape, etc. preventing the printer from seeing the cartridge. You can try to use a damp cloth and gently wipe the inkject area until you see ink. You can also run the ink cartridge cleaning application that your printer has. If your cartridge was allowed to dry out, experience again has shown that they function poorly or not at all even after flushing. If you plan to refill, refill when the cartridge is low not empty.
